In 1990, this is what I wrote in our hearing impaired son’s diary…

On Sunday Hughan said “more” when he finished his tea.

I also called to him in the bedroom and he turned around straight away.

Friday 03/08/90-Building construction

In 1990, this is what I wrote in our hearing impaired son’s diary…

I took Hughan to school. His teacher has got a new Wendy house. Hughan thought it was great talking at the window and sitting on the chair at the table inside. Chatting (babbling) away with the other children.

On our way home I parked the car and Hughan and I went and watched the graders and the building construction at our new hospital grounds in Gaborone. Much activity going on and he just watched very quiet the at all that was going on

Thursday 02/08/90 – Bubbles

In 1990, this is what I wrote in our hearing impaired son’s diary…

Hughan and I played with bubbles. We went into the garden and we took it in turns blowing.

Wednesday 01/08/90 – The farm

In 1990, this is what I wrote in our hearing impaired son’s diary…

We went to play school.

We went to the farm in the afternoon.
